How do I book an Escape Room?

It's easy! Round up a group of your closest family and friends and head to our booking page or give us a call at 289-366-7192.


Can I play with less than the minimum?

All our rooms are designed with the minimum number of players in mind. As such, we believe our rooms are best experienced at or above the minimum number of players required. There are tasks, puzzles and moments that may physically require multiple people to complete or become more challenging with less players participating.

We put a great deal of thought into player experience and we would love for you to experience the games as we intended. However, we understand there are extenuating circumstances. If your group needs to play with less than the minimum players required, we may be able to make an exception, but we will still require payment for the minimum number of players the room requires.


Do I have to pay online?

When making a booking online we require a deposit of one General Admission per experience booked. The remainder of the tickets will be required to be paid upon arrival for your experience. All deposits are non-refundable but are eligible to be transferred to another booking or redeemable as a gift voucher if we are notified at least 24 hours before the booking.


What if my group size changes?

If your group size changes after booking - that’s okay! No changes are necessary to your booking as long as your group size is greater than the minimum and less than the maximum required number of players for your experience. If your group size falls below the minimum or exceeds the maximum, please get in contact with us via email or telephone and we would be happy to help!

Note: All payments (initial deposit excluded) are handled on-site before the start of your booking.


Do you offer a party room or event space for birthdays or other events?

Not at this time. Our primary focus at Crypto Escape Rooms is to create the best possible escape room experience and in order to provide the best possible escape experience to our players we have chosen to dedicate as much space as possible to our rooms and their operations.

What if I want to leave the room?

You will be able to leave the room at any time through the door you came in. Our staff will be monitoring your experience and ready to help at any time.


What if I have to cancel?

We understand you may need to cancel or reschedule your booking. If this happens we ask that you contact us by phone at 289-366-7192 or email us at info@cryptoescape.com . We have a No Refund policy once a deposit has been made.

Before 24 hours: 

If a cancellation is made 24 hours or more before your booking start time, transfers of deposits may be granted to a rescheduled booking at a later date and/or time. The deposit can also be converted into a gift card in-person or an online gift voucher redeemable at any point in the future.

After 24 hours: 

If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of your booking start time, transfers of deposits will not be granted.


Do I need to have any specific skills?

You don't need a PhD to play! The teams that are most successful are those that work together and communicate well.


Will I need to climb, jump, or lift heavy objects?

In our games you'll only need your mental strength. Our experiences are designed so that no physical force is necessary.


How many people should I bring?

For the best experience we advise bringing between 4 to 8 people depending on the recommended number of players indicated on the More Info page of each room. If you would like to bring more than 8 people or book a corporate event - please contact us and we will be happy to accommodate you.


How old do I have to be to play?

Anyone can come and play! Our rooms are generally designed for ages 12 and up, with some exceptions like Kilgore Cabin.

However, if your party includes children under the age of 12 please be aware that adult supervision will be required.


Do I need to bring anything?

Just your brain! Cell phones are not allowed to be used in the experience, however we offer a space for your personal belongings in the room that is accessible at any point during your 60 minutes.


Will I be scared?

Some of our rooms do have elements and special effects that some players may be startled by. In particular, the Kilgore Cabin is not recommended for players under the age of 14.


How does the replay rate work?

If you book 2 or more rooms on the same day, each room after the 1st will receive a $5 discount from General Admission price. If you book 2 or more rooms online, the deposit for each room will be at General Admission price, not the Replay Rate.


Do I have to fill out a waiver?

A filled out waiver is required in order to participate in our experiences. There will be a link to our waiver in the confirmation email when you book your experience with us either online or over the phone.
